Over-life-size, for a garden, forecourt, courtyard or campus lawn. Installed on a reinforced concrete cylinder built on site, the work stands about 2.2 metres above grade — a presence read from the street.

Outdoor base
Elevation.
The studio provides base-construction and installation instructions. The recipient builds the base and arranges lighting, landscaping and fabrication of a bronze plaque identifying George Petrides as the artist.
Precedent
Built for weather.
The same construction — brass coating on the face, bronze coating on the torso, over a hand-finished body of recycled PETG — stands outdoors year-round at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Hamptons, and across six hospital grounds in Greece. The clear coat protects against weathering and UV exposure and makes graffiti easier to remove.

Maintenance.
Clean periodically using a soft cloth. For exterior placement, renew the protective coating annually using the studio-specified coating system, applied in accordance with the manufacturer’s technical guidance. Care of the work after installation rests with the recipient institution.
