The work at a glance
Two versions, one portrait
Made in the artist’s New York studio through clay modeling, digital sculpting, fabrication in recycled PETG and hand finishing. Applied brass and bronze metal coatings create the contrasting tones of head and torso, with a protective clear coat.
Both versions are completed and proposed for institutional gift. Each version is a unique work; neither is a cast of the other and neither is editioned. The artist may make further Jefferson portraits differing in size, colour and form, but no copies. The metal finish is a coating over a polymer body; the sculpture is not a solid bronze casting.

- Confirm signature and identifying marks, ownership history, and the documentation accompanying transfer. (Both works are unique; see Object record.)
- Condition & conservation
- Request a dated condition report, complete photography, final measurements and weight, coating product details and a written care schedule for the selected work.
- Placement & installation
- Coordinate site photographs, access, base construction, mounting and handling instructions. Outdoor foundations and anchoring require local engineering review.
- Gift & image rights
- Agree display and credit arrangements, transport and insurance responsibilities, and permissions for photography and publication. Read the proposed arrangements.
